This September, coffee enthusiasts from around the globe will gather in Lisbon, Portugal, for the 2024 World AeroPress Championship. Alongside the main competition, which will include approximately 60 national winners, the WAC organizers have introduced two new features for this year’s event.
One of these is the WAC Roaster Village, where attendees can taste coffees offered by esteemed specialty coffee roasters from across Europe. Another addition is the AeroPress Invitational, where selected invitees will compete against renowned coffee brewing experts in hopes of securing a spot on the world final judging panel. Application for the Invitational is free, and registration for those selected will cost €50.
The 2024 World AeroPress Championship is scheduled to take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from September 19 to 21, 2024, at the Suspenso Lisboa event space. Here are the key details about the event.
